Nice to see someone finally figured out to put a door on the bottom so you don’t have to take the whole thing apart to add charcoal. 👌

Multiple grates sounds good until you realize you will have to rotate protein between them because of temperature differences. I have no door on my 30 or 55 gallon uds...if you run out of heat during a cook, you badly undersized your basket. The dolly handles and wheels are a good idea...your ashes are going to shift backwards all over the bottom of your cooker but you do have that nifty door to help in the clean out.

I love the addition of the door for access to the fire source and the dolly system!! that's a big advantage over the OK Joe drum (which i love) interested to see how it performs! i might be in the market soon! Thanks buddy

I have a drum smoker. Pit barrel PBX and love it. Wanted the gateway drum smoker but was way out of my price range. Wait till you do ribs on yours. You’re gonna live it

It looks like a great smoker, I have a vertical Dyna Glo that’s fun to cook on as well. How about cooking some mixed beef and pork meatballs. Whatever you decide to cook it’ll taste great I’m sure. PS, love the channel You always have great content.
