This song and the ending of the film were gut-wrenching. Just the realization of what’s about to happen and that final shot reframe the entire narrative into such a harrowing light and it’s stuck with me for hours.

If you aren't crying by the end of this film, then you are tougher than me. Dune was one of my mother's favorite books. She passed in early 2022. She would have loved this film.

Just saw an early viewing. This does indeed play when you think it does. I sat there, exhausted and bewildered with a tear in my eye as the credits rolled. Last time I felt this way leaving a theatre was 2049. Thank you Denis.
