Here I show how, with a flashlight, to signal SOS in Morse Code

It’s creepy when in an ocean of darkness, you see SOS. Makes you think or wonder how would someone (or even something) even end up there. Maybe it’s just me.

Everyday I see that light from the mountains of my town to my flat, I was wondering if I had to go there to help the people or maybe they're just cars or something else, because it's always in the same place of the mountain

For anyone slow like me and wondering what the difference in flashes were... Its three quick flashes, 3 slightly slower flashes, and then 3 quick flashes again.

May be, you should say how far the 2 other person where, and how much lumen they used for that experience...

Just found myself on the highway with friends and the brake light of the van ahead of me was blinking very strangely..had the thought i had no clue what a distress signal looked like…thank you. Sure hope it wasnt some poor sob trapped in that van, it didnt seem much like how this looks. It wouldnt have bothered me if the flashing was random…apeared to be random and then consistent. Atleast the van had windows and apeared to be one person driving…creepy

I know only SOS in morse as I learned it myself as a child. I memorised it as a sound... beep beep beep beep beep beep

It's easy to transform it to a code using light such as with mirror, flashlight, laserpointer.. and harder but even smoke possibly? I have a laserpointer (10km) and might bring it on my next hiking trip. I hope I will never have to use it.. but I have imagined how to use it in the mountains.
