Sir Walter Scott's Marmion- an antique book made into a junk journal. - SOLD!!

Sir Walter Scott's Marmion, a beautiful, antique book, copyright 1891. The book is in good condition, with only a few scuffs and paint marks on cover. The inside spine has been reinforced with fabric.
The outside cover has been sealed.
The inside cover contains the library card pocket from the Axtell library. I chose to leave it in as it is firmly attached, I was afraid I'd do more harm to the book trying to remove it. It make a nice tuck spot for a tag.
The original book is titled "The Students' Series of English Classics' and this particular book from the series is 'Scott's Marmion', written by Sir Walter Scott. So taking that cue, I found some vintage 'Authors' cards and have included the Sir Walter Scott card and a few others.
Lots of writing space, ledger paper, coffee stained pages, vintage German dictionary ages, original book pages, lace trim on first page of each signature. Tags, corner tuck, flips, pretty digital pages, etc. Lots of sewing on the page edges and washi tape as well.
The journal is approximately 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" and contains 3 signatures of 11-12 pages each for 140 total pages.
