Definitely trying it bro. I've been cooking with leeks for a year now and frickin love them! Just made the family some straight up medieval leek soup with no modern store bought crap, nothing a medieval peasant wouldn't have had. They couldn't believe how good it was. Thanks for the video.

I live in Northern Ireland. In the70s and 80s, the dark green leaves ( now removed) were the prize. They had Iron and countless vitamins and minerals. Even sautéed leeks were superb with some smoked grilled bacon chops...Oh my 🤗🤗🤗😋😋😋😋🤗🤗🤗

Spoon some into indy ramekins and broil topped with a little gruyere. Lovely!

You have inspired me to make this, and make it my own with a couple subtle variations; thinly sliced garlic in with the leeks and cream, then a big handful of spinach at the end before the mustard. Leeks and spinach harvested this morning from my garden so super fresh.

Just finished making this. I cleaned, blanched & froze the leeks last week. Throwing this together so quickly was fabulous. Delicious
Sonny. I'm glad I stumbled up on this just in time for holiday.
Thanks for sharing.

Up until today, I never thought twice about a leek when I see then in the store! I remember my mother getting upset with me for getting them instead of green onions, but I was 5 y/o...LOL! Looks delicious, now I must try at least!! How satisfying it is to watch you close-up while you're working...your techniques and you glide as if you are creating THE masterpiece in THIS moment!...AWESOME!!!! Happy holiday season 2023!!! (i've been binging you all month!)

You are definitely one of my go-to people when it comes to cooking instruction. Your simple roast chicken instructions have never failed me. and I love leeks so I’m making this!

I just made this! I accidentally put too much mustard in the mix, so it tastes a bit mustardy, but overall it’s great!! Thank you so much for this recipe!

My paternal grandmother was English, so all through my childhood we ha creamed onions for holiday dinners. It's when I learned to make a white sauce. This is way easier than peeling the Itty bitty onions. Thanks.
