Again this may not work for everyone, everyone has different PC specs and so there likely isn't a one size fits all solution but what I do know is that this helped make the game work for me and others. Please give it a shot if you are suffering from this problem and I hope it allows you to enjoy WWE 2K22!

This actually worked for me thank you, even with the update that dropped a few days ago it would still give me that crash message over and over and now it finally doesn't! Glad i can actually play this game now, had to leave a comment

Wow....I purchased this game when it came out, spent $120 for the top version for it. 2K support was zero help. I just played two games of Royal Rumble with zero crashes before I was eliminated. I have no idea what the fix does but it has so far worked for me. I imagine when there's an update, it may delete these files and I may have to re-download them. Until then, thank you!

Damn man!!! IT SOLVED MY ISSUE I actually finished 1 match for the first time without crashing...the only annoying thing is entrances look glitchy and sped up

It worked for me, and I have the cracked version 1.14. In practice these 2 files force the game to render with vulkan instead of directx 12. Brilliant as a fix

It doesn't work for me, the game starts, but when I want to start the match, a black screen appears

This works for me but it makes the matchup screen flicker aggressively whenever you use a CAW, it's pretty hard on the eyes. Better than the game crashing and being unplayable, but definitely not for someone who might suffer from seizures.

@TheDominusIgnis The files linked don't open with zipfile openers. 7zip or Winrare. Any suggestions for .zst files ?
