Our first time in York, UK! We spent a wonderful 48 hours in England’s most historic city, and we can definitely recommend this spot for a great day trip or short visit.

York has such a fascinating history and there is so much to see. We really enjoyed walking around the city centre, taking in the sights, and learning about the city. It feels so nice to be back in the UK and we’re really glad we decided to include this as a stop on our trip.

York is a really beautiful city with lots of history. I remember walking on the city wall and hving a wonderful view of the city.
Theo absolutely enjoys the comfortable ride.

You can easy do a week in York. Theres lots of places to visit. The National Railway Museum is there. Free entry, a good way spend a few hours. There is an ice cream boat aswell when its nice down by the river. Plus a well known chippy there in town - Drake's Fish & Chips. The Shambles also has a Harry Potter store in it called The Potions Cauldron. A fun store to visit. In the Shambles is also the aptly named Shambles Tavern, which is a nice quaint little pub

Theres also "Castle Howard", about 15 miles from the town centre, which isnt a castle, but a BIG fancy state home. I have a video on it
