QUESTION: Can the COVID-19 vaccines negatively affect puberty?

DOC ANSWER:
“There is no biological reason or explanation knowing how the vaccines work to explain how the vaccine could affect signals from the brain or the hormones that drive and control puberty or development – now or later in a young person’s life. We know that if a patient is going to have an adverse side effect due to vaccination it typically happens very soon after vaccination and at the most within the first two to three months. It has been more than a year since people were first vaccinated in clinical trials, and no side-effects related to puberty or development have been reported among children participating in these clinical trials. Also, the Covid-19 vaccine prepared for children in the 5-11 age group is a lower dosage, at one-third the dose for adults. 10% of American kids between 5-11 years old have been vaccinated already and the reports are that kids are tolerating it very well!”
