2:30, as someone that travels only a few times a year I feel the complete opposite way. For me stamps are a nice souvenir of my vacation and if I don't get a stamp or a sticker in my passport I'm a little disappointed. They should provide an option to have your passport stamped automatically - if you want to.

I flew KLM business a few years ago, glad to see they are still brilliant. I'd rate Finnair as one of the best European airlines, especially with their new business seat.

Something a bit different: have you ever been on a Concorde and TU-144 on a single day? I did it when I visited the Technikmuseum in Sinsheim, Germany. You should gave that a try! And if you want to walk on a wing of a 747, go to the same museum but then in Speyer

Hi, first time I flew KLM was in the early fifties, yea they did fly seventy years ago! The memory I have was that we sat facing each other over a table, very similar to railway carriages. They gave away the best chocolate bars I had ever tasted. I don’t miss flying prop aircraft, the whole aircraft vibrated. Jets are much quieter but nothing compares to flying in a BOAC Flying Boat from South Hampton to Lake Naivasha in Kenya. Now that was luxury! Cheers mate. Harera

- The Channel Islands (and how's they're only one flight to France)
- How Southampton's Airport's runway expansion seems to be a waste of time.
- Barra Airport (it's a beach)
- Shetland Airport
- Stornoway - Benbecula
- Doing a trip across the Atlantic, but with lots of stops in small planes.

Was lucky enough to fly KLM business class in Jan & it was excellent. Have to say the crew were outstanding. KLM are the best European airline in my opinion anyway.

I fly frequently between Jakarta and Amsterdam. I usually opt for Middle Eastern carriers (Emirates, Qatar) for cheaper prices, and Garuda Indonesia for direct flights. But last year I flew with KLM for the first time, and oh boy, what an experience! The crew was lovely, the service was great, and the IFE was impressive (lots of movies and songs, second best after Emirates IMO). Plus, the transit process was fast and seamless. Definitely gonna flying KLM again for my return flight to Jakarta next summer!

Yes, the loo review of Noel are of another level, so you should create your own check! Some say that not under every seat there is a life-vest present. If that is true I don’t know, but that is for you to check! Because you are always checking on safety in the cabin and cabin crew follow regulations, this check would fit you! (and no, this is not to jinx things!). It can be named “safety vest availabilty test” 😎

@joshcahill, thanks, this is great! When I was 21 in the mid-80's, I lived in NYC and was working in London and Tokyo in the entertainment industry. I always flew KLM London to Tokyo via Amsterdam since downtown was so close to the airport. I always hit the coffee shop during the layover, that's why I picked it, the Tokyo flight was always chill. :) They were terrific at KLM. FinnAir was also fun, the pilots had a big band and when they had concerts, they canceled flights so they could assemble for their events. It was hilarious and the band was good. Keep up the great work buddy!
