NASA | Death-Defying Comets Explore the Sun's Atmosphere

To observe how winds move high in Earth's atmosphere, scientists sometimes release clouds of barium as tracers to track how the material corkscrews and sweeps around but scientists have no similar technique to study the turbulent atmosphere of the sun. So researchers were excited in December 2011, when Comet Lovejoy swept right through the sun's corona with its long tail streaming behind it. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) captured images of the comet, showing how its long tail was buffeted by systems around the sun, offering scientists a unique way of observing movement as if they'd orchestrated the experiment themselves. Since comet tails have ionized gases, they are also affected by the sun's magnetic field, and can act as tracers of the complex magnetic system higher up in the atmosphere. Comets can also aid in the study of coronal mass ejections and the solar wind.

The science found here is amazing!! Like never before we can witness the sun and all of her beauty and power. This looks like it came out a movie, its so real.

TESLA said "Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality."

Your speech fit into that :-)

And I'm agree with you.

I meant Deep imapct, not Schumacher-Levy., momentary lapse of concentration. The Sun's lack of convection:
The ice in the tail is probably formed by the interaction of charged particles in the solar wind and silicates in the tail, as it was only silicates that were collected after the collision of the Deep Impact probe and the comet.

Admitting it when you don't know something is called intellectual honesty.

All I can imagine about the folks at Nasa, is, I betcha they can't wait to get to work in the mornin'.

Schumacher-Levy - No ice came out of the impact site of the comet, yet they still claim comets are made of ice and rock, only silicates came out. Ice particles in the tail too small to have been part of solid lumps of ice so must have been made in the tail and not have been ejected by the comet., and more.
The Sun's observed convection is only 5% of what it needs to be for the standard model of the sun to be correct.

No. I don't think it's all faked. I think the standard model is highly outdated. When electric current passes though a vacuum tube, it amplifies both voltage and amperage. The solar wind is made of highly charged particles passing though a vacuum. To think that it would not do the same thing is wrong in my opinion. This is why the solar wind accelerates as it gets farther away from the sun. This could also show higher temperatures than what is actually there on the surface. "Electric Universe"

Zig-Zag is clear but straight line destination is not clear. Where it is going? Since in my opinion sun is like gas well fire ball made due to inner side edge dia orbit edge well of all objects orbiting it making hude heat there like filament it may be made of liquid or gasses or liquid gasses generally known as plasma and filaments are seen there while plasma erruptions.
Mean power of orbit of all objects orbiting it ends on its x. Mean it is behaving like Excel.
Cuase of plasma erruptions maybe due to power of again objects coming near to it or going away from it or running hour heat breathing called hapana in hindi.

Zig-Zag maybe termed as current flow mean strength of wave length.

Why didn't you show the footage that revealed lovejoy's nucleus; as it rounded the sun? For a fraction of a second it was vivble and still photos prove it was planetary in size; which you made no mention of. Born at night, but not last night.

Since when NASA uses the word plasma in their videos when it comes to talk about the sun ?
Because to me, it appears that they usually try not to use it

"plasma" is like a keyword, they usually would prefer to circle around the word using expressions like "hot gazes" or "electrified gazes".

But maybe I Missed something, does anyone got this feeling ?

(2) mathemagics even though observations back up these theories.
The rejection of theories by the establishment and by powerful induvidual scientists has held scientific progress back many times throughout the history of science and today is no different.

If the Comet had a hand, his middle finger would be raised towards the sun ;P

You tell 'em Billy Mr2Tuff2....but not like NASA has ears to hear or eyes to see...blind as a bat rather...

2:35 Nasa says : "The exact reason for this acceleration is not known"

Hum ...

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !
