Have you ever considered the “Zamboni pattern used to resurface hockey rinks“when you’re dragging or cutting your fields

Can’t wait to see those fields 5 years from now! From depleted, tobacco farmed, stripped dirt you are really making great progress!

12 years ago when I lived in Illinois before I retired and sold my tractor and equipment i had a harrow that the previous owner left. I wish I had it now because of the price of them. It wasn't a big one but wide enough for the driveway use. I now live in Missouri after retiring to Florida for a few years, which we hated but didn't want to move back to Illinois. So slowly been replacing items to make it easier to do projects.

enjoyed the video of watching the moving of the sand of stone, and spreading of the manure with the bat wing harrow.

I do the same thing but I overseed with winter rye and Austrian snow peas ...then march I plant sunn hemp to terminate weeds and fixate nitrogen...they also bring bees.

That will also spread some of the grass seed that is in the pie and scarify and aerate the soil surface enough that it will help it germinate.

I gotta drag my fields too when I get home. Kubota dealer told me the same thing. I don't have to use def but it does have a dpf. Dealer said keep high rpms. It does a regen when it needs it.

There is just something strangely satisfying about watching someone driving a tractor around a pasture.

I have an old alfalfa harrow that I use to drag over my pasture. I don't do it every year. And I like to wait until after a good rain to soften cow patties. We have alkali spots. The cattle side looks really good. The horse side not so much.

Unless the mower has a lock for the wings you might want to move the car over some. Seen plenty of those bleed down.
