Greenpeace protesters disrupt Boris Johnson's arrival at Buckingham Palace

Greenpeace protesters on Wednesday tried to stop the incoming prime minister, Boris Johnson, from reaching Buckingham Palace by forming a human chain and blocking the Mall. The protesters were quickly taken away by police.

This organisation Greenpeace has a fair degree of responsibility for the current energy insecurity in the U.K. For decades it campaigned for nuclear power stations to be shut down, prevented more being built and wrecked the UK’s nuclear expertise. If a fleet of nuclear power stations were built decades ago there would be less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the U.K’s electricity and gas prices would not be so high.

I love the way the police deal with these protesters, especially the one who rugby tackles the three people to the side of the road. Have watced this video over and over (I don't read the Guardian I hasten to add).

If a car travels at a constant speed it uses very little full therefore less pollution, if a car has to stop and start again it hugely increases the full burnt.
So yes protesters being as smart as always 😆
