5 Best FREE Mods for SCX24!

Here's my 5 best FREE mods for Axial SCX24 to improve its usability and performance.

I strongly believe Axial hit a homerun with Axial SCX24. It has to be one of the best Mini RC truck out of the box. It comes at a great value with many strengths, but like any RTR it is not without some improvement areas.

In this video, I used items that are at my home to mod my Axial SCX24.

I DID THAT O RING MOD FROM SOME TRAXXAS G500 WIPERS AND SIDE MIRRORS I GOT, THE BLACK LIL RUBBER RINGS WORKED GREAT ON THE GEN8 TIE ROD, TIGHTENING UP THE STEERING TREMENDOUSLY, , IM NOT REALLY INTO THE SMALL CRAWLERS, BUT I DO LIKE HOW YOU ALWAYS FIND THE BEST OUTCOME FOR A PART OR VEHICLE, KEEP UP THE GREAT Videos, 👍🤜🤛

the wd-40 on the tires makes a huge difference wow!

i burned the stock steering servo motor gear (tiny gear) within 48 hours of normal use .. this tiny motor gear was supposedly melted to the bigger gear it was interlocked with/in contact with causing the steering to lock up, overheat the servo motor and also overheat the ESC - luckily the ESC survived.
So i went ahead and ordered some parts for this amazing tiny RTR Crawler because it truly is too much fun crawling 😉

Will the servo reach the esc when everything is relocated? Also are your shocks upside down from the stock fit?

G'day m8...love anything free....but ive never heard of the brushing the tyres with WD40? i will have to go do research....that means WORK!....Cheers for the free things ol son, from a m8 downunder!!

how do you relocate the esc though? it looks like you bought a different esc tray?

I added O-rings to the steering arm/ tie rods up front, same ones from harbor freight used in video. When I tested it will steer normal but when I turn right the wheels won't go back straight, turning left it goes back straight. What'd I do wrong, only did that nothing else. Thanks

My rc scx24 wheels won't spin anymore. Sadly not even 24 hours of use. It is my first rc so idk if it was something I did or commen problem.
