Gettin funky, getting jazzy, letting it rip and going with the flow. This is just jampacked with subtle cool inflections, accenting a driving beat that simultaneously hits like a hammer and is smooth as butter. Stretching that timing in a funky way, then casually falling back in step.
It's hitting like a cool blend of Pat Methany mixed with Steve Lukather, spiced with some Eric Johnson.

Maybe the very best in the world right now - there is Govan and Gambale, Mateo and Turra but the depth, the precision, the speed and fluidity are kind of unparalleled. The dedication to the instrument is total and complete . The practice required is unfathomable . At least faking some emotion could somehow add but when I close my eyes it is nothing but brilliance - thank you for posting and I hope Mr Max can throw something together for us mortals - I could happily listen to an hour or two of Max noodling over simple jam tracks - it is unbelievable 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🌏✌️🎶🎼🎸💥🪘🔥. ✌️
