The Republican-controlled House voted to pass a bill to raise the debt limit. MCNBC’s Jen Psaki details the importance of this move for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

The federal reserve lets the banks keep nearly all the profit from the dollar. The dollar needs to be America's dollar not the banks.

They need to roll back at least 2 of the last pay increases' if not four: for these lawmakers including their meal allowances/benefit package. Playing hardball with the people's life's while softball with their own is not appropriate & has to stop.
If they can not represent the needs of the people they should resign so the people of their jurisdiction can replace them.

They aren’t even spending real money anymore. Its literally debt that can never be paid back so this will continue until collapse. Question what happens though when you default on this debt? When the dollar is no better then toilet paper?
