After Realta Nua, I am glad that Nasu was kind enough to give an epilogue of Shiro and Saber reuniting at Avalon. It was the most single beautiful moment in every VN I've played/read.

Unlike archer (future self), This Shirou didn't ask for miracle like making contract with Alaya and become a counter guardian to keep on his Ideal.

This Shirou became an ideal hero of justice of his own in the future where the only miracle he got at the end of his time is that he eventually accepted by Avalon and reunited with Saber (Artoria).

This scene was so emotional and at least Shirou knew at the very end that Saber loved him before they parted, just with that he was satisfied. When you watch Fate stay night you know that Shirou will save Saber and make her realize that she must find her own happiness and then they fall in love with each other (and if you read VN you'll know the true end where they meet at Avalon in the afterlife after the two miracles happened). When I watched Zero after Fate, the last episode, that final moment when Shirou tells Kiritsugu that he would fulfill his dream for him and when Saber slowly looks up towards the light shining on the hill at that same moment had me so emotional because the light she looked up to for me was like a light of hope showing that she'll meet someone who will save her and that she'll protect and value more than her desires, something like that, so when that moment happened I was about to cry (because I knew what happens in Fate route) so it resulted me in watching Fate stay night and read the VN again even though I already did so. I watched Ubw and HF but weren't really interested in it besides the animation and Illyas relationship with Shirou, but that's all. I felt that Shirou and Saber's romantic relationship was way more understandable and loveable. Ubw story wasn't good imo and HF literally almost all my favorite characters die and its ignored and Saber my favorite female character become corrupted and killed off as well. Rin and Sakura's relationship with Shirou in their routes imo is kinda forced. Maybe cos I simply just love Saber more. I'm not a fan of Tsundere girls cos they're hard to understand what they're feeling and seeing Sakura reminds me of seeing Orihime from Bleach which I didn't like either, although I'll admit Sakura had quite the depressing backstory, so I loved the Fate route more, loveable romance, good storyline, not too dark(I'm not fan of dark stories tbh), stays closer to the event of Holy grail war, Kotomine death was very satisfying being stabbed by Azoth dagger and a beautiful ending. Here's hoping that Fate route gets a remake with the true ending animated. I'll keep praying for that day to come.

All of it started with this... An ending like this left me sore... So sore, that I just HAD to find SOMETHING! I downloaded the VNs and went through every story, watched other adaptations and read fanfictions on end... In hindsight I probably would'nt ever have invested so much time and heartfelt effort if this little moment - those one-and-a-half minutes - had simply been a happy ending... This is without doubt the biggest shipping I've ever had towards an anime couple... And they still just seem to fit together so perfectly in every aspect!

I would love an Ufotable remake for this route after the Heaven's Feel movies. Fate just deserves to get a better adaptation and honestly. I think we all want to see the last episode from Realta Nua animated, don't we ?

I have seen several romance and drama animes but I have never felt so sad as with the ending of SN, it gave me those "Gladiator" vibes, such a powerful and beautiful relationship between Arturia and Shirou. I can only hope that it gets an "unlimited budget works" remaster
