Citizens Must Demand Accountability For Taxes From Gov’t, Says PS/ST Ggoobi

The Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury in the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Ramathan Ggoobi has urged citizens to seek accountability for the taxes ahead of the new financial year which begins in July.
The PS/ST gave the counsel while launching the 2023-2024 budget month. Parliament, which is currently in recess, will reconvene on 15th June 2023 with the reading of the new budget.
