Notes: In the late 1980’s I was recording an album called "Paris" and Billy was a guest artist on a few songs. He played on my red Cherrywine Tama Superstar kit and Mastercraft Rosewood 6 1/2" snare drum. A great experience! I’m happy to feature some photos of that day in this video.
Later on, in the summer of 1994, the North American W.O.M.A.D. Tour (World Of Music Arts And Dance) headlining Peter Gabriel with Billy on drums and Ugandan Real World artist Geoffrey Oryema with myself on drums. Billy played an impressive three-bass-drum kit which wasn't so common at the time. The tour ended with the Woodstock 1994 event, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the famous festival.
This interview was done for French drum magazine "Batterie Magazine" and was originally not intended to be a video shoot, thus the weird camera angles. But I feel it is worth sharing anyway (after some serious editing).

"Spectrum" is one of the best albums, of all time as far as I'm concerned. Tommy bolin great guitar player with a tragic ending. I still listen to this on a daily basis I just can't get enough of it. It's great.
Leland Skyler on bass for 4 of the songs. Who was the other bass player again?
