So basically the base difference between 3d and 4d printers is that 3d also prints fully complete and 3d items but 4d are only bendable

Plato, introduced us to the 5' but there are more which we have now discovered and probably because now is the right time, and for no other reasons. So recently I was pondering over graphene and why it wasn't the big hit it could have been. The simple answer is that whilst we discovered it and the wonderful qualities it has actually producing large enough quantities was always going to be our biggest problem. The machine that was going to manufacture graphene so that we could use it had to be on a level higher than it. Which wasn't available at the time and now 30 years have past it's very likely being manufactured solely for "Black Projects" yawn yawn.

One of my suggestions is to explore Borophene as that is the new kid on the block and has less restrictions meaning more versatility and not such a headache. The 5 solids each have unique properties from each other and strengths. If bonded on a 1 atom level with other smart materials then you step into a whole new world of possibility. Yes, it's a little freaky and unknown but surely that is half the fun.

What you mentioned when you talked about space is spot on, as this could be the next IKEA in terms of building "Space Stations" of the future and the production of creating habitable bases for places like the moon, or any other planet you care to imagine. The beauty of this is the properties that will have to face punishing weather conditions. The other big win is as above so below we can build underwater cities for the future so, there is no shortage of housing anymore.

Let me introduce you to the top end of 4D printing, which is coming. We have E.T. to thank for this inspiration because it the damaged spacecraft that gave us the clue when we discovered it was trying to repair itself. Sorry as this does breach classified files but anyone could have worked that out in the last century that is what it was doing. My understanding is naturally limited because I don't have the access to the files obviously, but what I could speculate is that the debris scattered had it all been collected would then have enabled the craft to actually repair itself. Now that is mind blowing.

Beyond that level, I would like to introduce you to the next level up as if you have a mind that can play around with ideas like mine then nothing is impossible. The next level up requires e.s.p. which Elon is exploring with Neural Link. How this works is only theoretical but imagine in your mind that you can play with the molecular structure of any object that you can to think about. So let's go very simple imagine a ball, perhaps a golf ball, as that is easy, now imagine you could increase the size of that golf ball to the size of our "Moon" okay. Pretend for a second that an asteroid hits your moon and takes a chunk out. Even just a small chunk out but perhaps enough to alter all the characteristics it had before the incident. What if we could repair that moon till it was back to how it looked but its ratio was the only thing that has been affected. Now you could do one of many things here. You could put pretty much restore it back to new albeit with some lost debris heading out to space.

Or you could send a vessel to collect the debris and put it back to the way it was. There is what I mean by taking it up to the next level. E.T.s craft was how we discovered fibre-optics amongst other things and that is still hugely classified. My guess is that we've taken that to a whole new level since. Einstein once said imagination is better than knowledge however when you have both there is nothing you cannot do. Thank you for reading my post.

What I can talk about is "Plato" and now you're scratching your heads, why Plato'. The truth of the answer is why not Plato' here is a man who introduced us to the 5 Platonic Solids. Which every nerd understands even the M.I.T. ones. However what is not understood is Sacred Geometry and it un-discovered potential in the 21st Century. So I have a pretty good grasp of the first 3 dimensions the 4 is still very new to me and I'm picking it up slowly. Which doesn't mean I dumb, it just means I don't have the access or resource to explore it fully. What I do know is that with 2D, combined with 3, and 4 has got global potential that will allow us to make huge strides in science on every conceivable level. Yes, every level. Which is a win, win for practically everyone on the planet.
