Synopsis :
Welcome to an exam-cheating business run by ‘Lynn’ (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying), a straight-A student who gets the idea for her business after helping ‘Grace’ (Eisaya Hosuwan) and ‘Pat’, (Teeradon Supapunpinyo). Grace is a prominent school activist who can’t get the grades she needs. Pat is a filthy-rich boy who believes money can buy anything. Lynn’s business skyrockets and the money starts to flood in as scores of students offer her cold hard cash in exchange for exam answers.

One day, Lynn is offered the opportunity to make millions of Baht. It is Pat and Grace who devise a plan for her to take the STIC test, an international standardised test for students wanting to enrol in the world’s leading universities. The test is scheduled to take place on the same date and same time at locations all over the world.

Although it will be extremely difficult to pull off, their plan is for Lynn to fly to a country in a time zone that’s ahead of Thailand, and then send the answers back to her customers. The only setback is that they need another genius scholar to help them pass on the answers in Thailand, and the only person that fits the profile is ‘Bank’ (Chanon Santinatornkul), Lynn’s scholarship-student rival who staunchly detests cheating of any kind.

What will Lynn do to convince Bank to overcome his moral dilemma and help them?

Just watched. For a movie with no violence/fighting/horror there was so much suspense in this film! This movie is really special. I highly recommend it.

Bad Genius is unbelievably good. It's more exciting than many Hollywood thrillers. The plot and characters are well-designed and executed, with a consummate performance by Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying as Lynn, the cheating teenage genius. Besides dealing with moral issues of cheating at exams and profiting from the dishonesty, the movie also highlights class inequality, social, and teenage issues. The movie is up there among the best and well-worth watching again.

Honestly, this movie was so out of the ordinary and perfect. Full of suspense and thrill. Made me question about my morals to an extent, which is something a lot of movies never do. 10/10 honestly.

Such an innovative plot with unexpected twists! Absolutely love the cinematography and the use of sound and music to elevate the film. A refreshing breakaway from the usual Western blockbusters. 5 stars!

Hello everybody,

In the Thai cinema movie "Bad Genius",
I played the "Test Center Supervisor´s Assistant".

I remember that the director Nattawut Poonpiriya,
asked me to improvise at the scene.
After I did my improve act at the scene,
I made everybody laugh.
The director laughed, too and said to me:
"This is not a comedy movie". :-)

So I had to be quiet at the scene.

I understand why some people tell the ending of this story was not good, but I actually could say that it's good and much realistic, just not a happy ending like most of the movies..

thai movies are so underrated and cornered into niche market in Indonesia. I hope they will make it big in South East Asia for the beginning, seriously not many country is able to make a meaningful teenage movie like GDH always does (previously GTH).

I'm a big fan of May Who! so i'm having a high expectation for this movie, since this Bad Genius came out from GDH production.

I picked this Netflix movie to watch with my college going daughter without knowing much about its background. It just seemed interesting. Is that an understatement or what!! I dont think any movie in recent times has captivated us this much. The cinematography is wonderful, the plot superb and the social commentary outstanding. I am going to watch more Thai films from now onwards.
