So nice great list. Imperial will always be my main deck and I will always play it in every format and show it still strong. But regarding bt12 fighter mode. You said you have to bottom deck the source of Dragon mode. But you probably miss read, but the effect actually returns it to the hand!
So yes there is the Ace overflow, but there a caviot to that. If you play memory well enough u can effectively use Ace overflow to pass turn no less than 2-3 memory.
While also recycling your Ace back to your hand for more counter plays.
Overall I love how Imperial just keeps getting more love.

You are definitely right about the returning of the Ace. If it leaves the battle area, even as a digivolution source, Overflow still goes off.

I personally think there are occasions where getting the new fighter mode to remove the imperialdramon ace can combo into a good way to wipe bot deck board and end turn to them at 3 memory. Especially if you have a bt 12 davis and davis/Ken. Swing with dragon mode and digivolve to fighter with davis effect and hit security 2 hits, unsuspend with d/k, have blocker 15k, and you got your ace back on your terms and passed.

I like to use the green plugin option, let you draw one and digievolve for a cost of 2, also the security efect is a sercher for any digimon and you add the card to the hand so I think help a lot

This is an interesting list, and I appreciate the reminder about bt12 FM removing the Ace DM from the battle area.
I'm considering playing a heavier source-strip control version of the deck using Zudomon Ace as well, but I'm still just toying around with the idea.

10:32 So, I personally still think the new fighter mode is better. Because you do NOT have to return the dragon mode when you digivolve him. If you choose to leave the dragon mode within the stack, then instead of returning your opponent's suspended digimon to the bottom of their deck, you would return a single suspended digimon to the opponent's hand. Which is still quite good.

Plus he gets the all turns effect of +1000 dp for each color in the digivolution cards, plus security +1 and blocker if he has two or more colors. Which are all fantastic things that the bt8 fighter mode doesn't get.

Not to mention that depending on the board state, it could be a great idea to use the full effect, because the ACE dragon mode gets returned to your hand, NOT the bottom of the deck, which means that you can then play it out again on a future turn, and on top of that, being able to send your opponent's entire board to the bottom of their deck could easily be worth four memory depending on the situation. Especially since there are a lot of decks that like to go wide nowadays.

I'm not convinced with the new Davis yet. Not that the card is bad, but trying to get off its full value is not that consistent and the extra mem wasn't always a saver, even when I played bt12 Davis it wasn't enough. But I am willing to test him. And if I'm wrong. I'm wrong. I welcome the artwork of the cards though.

Ruling Question: Can BT12 Fighter Mode even digivolve over and use ST9 Dragon Mode for its effects? Because the new Fighter Mode specifically mentions (Imperialdramon: Dragon Mode) (with an included colon ":") for both its reduced digivolution cost, and its effect.

Basically my question is does the BT12 Fighter Mode care about the colon ":"?

How I get the veemon promo and Imperial Ace? Both are from the promos cards from the movie right? In my country looks like are not going to give any promo cards so is an big fail for us if that's the only way to get them.

You didnt mention the Virus fighter mode or the Mental Training option card. Both of the bt12 rookies for the deck search any Imperialdramon. That includes Virus Fighter Mode which can turn off security. The Training option lets you combo heavily with the st9 dragon mode & bt12 fighter mode. Makes no sense to knock those two tech together. Especially when bt12 Fighter mode sends to hand the dragon mode.

Lastly Quartzmon is a lv7 tech option. Makes no sense not to mention it.
