For a beginner or someone upgrading to their first full frame i would go with the a7iii. And I own an a7iv. I've also owned Aps-c cameras and megapixels and having the newest isn't going to do as much for your photos as improving your skills, camera knowledge and creativity. A better and more experienced photographer will produce a better image with that A7iii than a lesser photographer with an A7RV
