The “Baptist Bride” mentality is a Catholic Apostolic Doctrine of Church Authority & Ordination. The Baptist Briders' doctrines are also known as "Landmarkism" and teaches that only a genealogy of churches can beget churches, and only pastors beget pastors(bishop lineage).

The Bible teaches that Local Independent Churches comprised of Holy Spirit-filled members have the scriptural authority to ordain elder men as pastors and deacons. Ordination authority does not come from bishop successionism.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Eph 4: 11-12

In Catholic theology, the doctrine of apostolic succession is that the apostolic tradition - including apostolic teaching, preaching, and authority - is handed down from the college of apostles to the college of bishops through the laying on of hands, as a permanent office in the Church.

The belief that bishops (Pastors) are the successors to the apostles and that episcopal authority is derived from the apostles by an unbroken succession in the ministry.
A Genealogy of Pastoral Ordained Pastors Have Always Existed in Every Age by an Unbroken Historical Succession... this is Catholic Heresy that has crept into baptist Churches.

ELDERS
The word "Elder" in the Bible always means "older" and never "Pastor" The Apostle Paul Ordained the Evangelist Timothy to Ordain older men as Bishops within the congregation.

EXCELLENT points! This is a major problem/fallacy that has crept into baptist churches. But of course we know why - pride/a desire for fame, an obsession with power/control, the love of money, and complacent people who fear men rather than God.

How ironic that I call myself "Granny Redpill" due to the political agenda and darkness that's been revealed to me over the last 1.5 yrs. Now i'm being "redpilled" in the spiritual sense. I've been in the same church since I was saved in 1993. A "brider" church. I've heard how authority and succession was so important. My husband and I are moved only 20 min away but we are considering other churches currently (other things we are frustrated with for a long time). We've been led to believe that if we don't find a "true church" (brider) we won't be in the bride! So with that not really setting well with me.. and being at a point in my life where I'm questioning much (why do I believe what I believe? ... studying to show myself approved) ... I started digging. I'm finding alot out there that calls this "doctrine" heresy! Wow! We are praying for God to make the truth crystal clear. I don't want my flesh to decide. I only want truth! I'm only 3 min in and it's making more sense. I'll listen to all of this video... and may have more to comment on. And will watch other videos on the Bride, etc if you have recorded such topics. can you comment on brider's saying our body is not the "temple of the holy ghost" the briders are. and that we as

And the whole fallacy that Timothy and Titus were pastors is nonsensical. There's absolutely no scriptural proof for this whatsoever. They both got their authority to ordain Elders (aged men) to positions of authority in those churches because one, Paul was an Apostle and they were fellowlaborers with Paul and two, because Paul is the one who personally established those churches.
