Heres what i wouldve done: fly to eindhoven (netherlands), drive through belgium, germany, luxembourg and france. Then, fly to the east of switzerland or the west of austria and take switzerland, austria and liechtenstein. If theres time left, fly to rome and walk into vatican city. Thats 10 countries.
