2015 Merida Scultura 4000
Purchased new winter 2015 for £1149.
Frame & fork = Nano Matrix Carbon Fibre (frame weight = 1kg). Fork (roughly 350g). 53cm S/M frame. Top Tube measures 54.5cm horizontal centre to centre.
Wheel's = Alloy Comp 24 with cartridge bearings (from factory). Upgraded to Mavic Carbon Cosmic's during spring/summer/early autumn.
Groupset = Shimano 105 5800 11sp
Chainset = RS-500 compact 50/34 (from factory) with 172.5mm cranks. Upgraded to 105 5800 compact 50/34 172.5mm cranks. Stages 105 5800 left hand crank added.
Brakes = house brand dual pivot brakes. Upgraded to 105 5800 to match groupset.
Bottom Bracket = standard english thread 68mm shell RS-550. Retained.
Internal cable routing & Di2 ready.
Bars, stem & seat post = Control Tech alloy 42cm standard drop bars with 100mm stem & carbon fibre seat post. Swapped for own shallow drop 42cm carbon fibre bars & 100mm stem.
