Timelapse of the top 10 most dangerous countries in the world according to country crime index from 2012 to 2021. The country crime index is an estimation of overall level of crime in a given city or a country and is determined by a complicated formula that mainly averages all crimes (drug, theft, violent crimes, etc.) across the country population.

The report shows asian and african countries to have a higher crime index than most of other countries, which is not suprising given that in a lot of them there is a sate of war.

Venezuela looks to be one of the most dangerous countries, there is a high threat from violent crime and kidnapping with one of the highest murder rates in the world, which can be attributed to the poor political and economic environment in the country.

Anyway, do not go to Venezuela to a vacation.
