I always found ants so fascinating. I remember, when I was a child, I would sit in my grandparents' garden and watch them for hours. Now I don't need hours anymore bc you timelapsed it :) thank you!

Fun fact: Ants of the genus Camponotus have a particular fondness for fruit, such as apples, watermelon, and other sweet fruit.
If I had to guess these look like they’re Formica, but they’re similar to Camponotus as they are both rather large and have comparable behavior. Formica have very large eyes for visual foraging, however they are not as large as Camponotus. Their common names are also similar, Formica are wood ants and Camponotus are carpenter ants.
