In the early 2000s, I bought a mug similar in size and shape of Mystery Mug 9. I use it as a meal mug for stew, soup, spaghetti, salad, etc. especially when it's a nice day and I can sit outside to eat my lunch. Being able to hold the mug while I eat eliminates balancing a bowl or plate on my lap. I also use it as a dip container for parties.

Number 12 reminds me of the kind of fancy mug that Irish coffee is often served in.

Soup mugs! As a non coffee/tea drinker, I use all my mugs for soup. The oversized number 9 would be great with a soup theme design. Number 1 would also be a good shape. 😊

The American folk hero Paul Bunyan had a blue ox named Babe, which is what I thought of when I saw that bull mug! There's an old Disney short about Paul Bunyan and Babe that was one of my favorites as a kid. You could paint the bull mug in shades of blue as an unexpected design! I think a midnight blue version with gold luster stars on it would also be a super cool reference to the constellation Taurus as well!

I can’t help but think that even with the pattern being a bit worn, the ‘tooled leather mug’ would still sell quite well with those who love shabby chic, especially if done in pastel coloured glazes or by steering into the worn look. Though as soon as you opened the mould I couldn’t help but think that it’d look perfect with just a plain white glaze.

With the right teapot you could make a full little fairy tea set with that petal cup. Also on that western mug that U shaped thing isn't a horse shoe. IDK the name but I believe it goes over the horse's head like a collar when you're hooking them up to a wagon.

Add a flower or a butterfly to the bull mug to make Ferdinand the Bull. Such a sweet old kids book.

You may want to know that the design of the "leather" mug is an Anglo Saxon pattern that goes back to the 9th Century. I like the goblet being a Medieval reenactor. You could cut the handle off and make it a pure goblet. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and as a result has problems with her hand grip. But she is able to use goblet glasses. She can grip the stem and have control of the cup. If you ever saw the movie The Jester you could make the Flagon with the Dragon and Chalice from the Palace. The little pig cups could be done with different breeds of pigs. I love the bull mug.

I actually love the one with the foot lol. You often see that style in glass here in Europe for serving Irish Coffee or hot chocolate. Also loved the adorable little petal tea cup. Would love to see it in tulip colours. Or!! Or!! You could paint it like a water lily and put it on the lily pad you had a couple of months back!!

Hi, the mugs are so much fun.
The horse shoe on the Barn Dance mug is actually a horse collar, part of a driving harness.
A
The 12th mug looks like a goblet. The sort of mug they would serve with a mulled wine in at an outdoor winter market.
I'm off to my art group where I get to use clay, 2 hrs of heaven. Thanks for your great videos.

When I saw that big coffee mug the first thing I thought of was painting Starry Night on it. It is such a perfect canvas to paint some of Van Gogh's sunflowers on too.

The dancing couple's mug looks so interesting to me! 😊 The horse equipment on the wall isn't a horse shoe but a shoulder/neck "girdle" to pull things, like a plow or other machinery for agriculture ((you put the horse's or ox's head through and rest it on their shoulders/base of the neck)). 😊

Mug number 12 is something I would see at a Renaissance fair. I've actually bought a couple of ceramic mugs from just like them from the fair closet to me that I go to every year.

Number 7, reminds me the “mugs” in Lego sets.
Number 9 is perfect for soups.

I love love love the tiny fairy teacup, picturing it with pink or lilac petals. The giant tea cup mug would be a great soup mug on a cozy winter day. And the bull was soooo cute and would make a gorgeous small planter as well as a mug. can't wait to see what you do with them all. I also think you need to make a matching pair of the goblets (with the stand bases) and decorate them as if they were metal.

No. 9 would be perfect for soup. It also reminds me of the big mugs in Luke’s Diner on Gilmore Girls. Love it!
