I downloaded the idiot proof paperwork and got to work. I have to tell you it has been a blast learning this song. It is so perfect for me. Difficult enough i have to slow waaayyyy down to get it all correct but not so difficult that chunks are too hard to memorize.
I can sit and enjoy the process of learning the difficult bits without getting bored, Thank You!! I haven't enjoyed playing this much for a very long time.

Thank you for this! Great lesson for a beautiful song. Isn't it funny that classical musicians tend to look down on rock and folk musicians, when really they are all just glorified cover bands in the end! I truly appreciate your lessons and ease of instruction.

Great lesson Rob. Also worth mentioning is the foot tapping Paul does throughout the song to keep time. I always appreciated that being part of the recording-pretty easy to duplicate…all you need is a shoe on your foot and a hard floor! Btw I saw Paul McCartney live at Fenway Park in Boston Massachusetts several years back and he mentioned exactly what you said about people playing the song incorrectly! Peace
