Outstanding, thorough review, I plan to pick up a couple of these to use in a dual monitor system. Your command of the English language is outstanding as a non-native speaker. Keep up the good work! New subscriber here.

There is a lot of backlight bleeding in bottom left on mine too. Don't need to be dark room, can see it with dark mode on YouTube in light room.

Thanks. This and your previous U2723QE videos are really useful.

If you bought your monitor directly from Dell, you get Advanced Exchange Support and you can demand an exchange because of the backlight beading without having to send back your monitor before receiving the exchange.

Great job! This was a big help in deciding what to buy. I have a 16" MBP M2 and I just ordered the U32230QE for $829.99 Thanks!

I have this one since 7 months. Software is great (I have connected 2 PC to it: DP-DP and through USB-C-USB-C) I can toggle brightnes and contrast based on hour, I can switch between PC's connected during this switch also USB-B SoundBar SB502 connects between PC's. IPS Black is good, and picture is brighter than on the older monitors. Updated soudBar (V2) is much, much better, I really do like it, although it wasn't cheap. DP connection is 4K x 60Hz x 30bits USB clocks in 4K60Hz 24bits. I can confirm, that this is clear and crisp monitor (screen) compared to the other IPS models. It is still not the 5K level of my iMAC (550 nit glossy) but it is on the very good track. LCD and Software - this is great (LAN also reconnects as switching via keyboard shortcut). My model had - PAST TENSE - coil whine, it sopped at some point, which was surprising for me, but it did! If you read (as I do) sh.. ton of content for training, this thing is very good! Just remember you need OS with very good advanced scalling - when I turned NVidia SuperResolution... 1080p videos look amazing, card is running 60C but this is custom PC, it can.

Is it worth spending extra on this versus getting a S2722QC?

Hi, Thanks for sharing the video. I wondered if this kind of monitor can be used as a TV as well. Thanks!

I wish the cables weren't exposed that much. Maybe put it in the stand or behind it, especially the power cord

Does it have PIP feature as listed on Dell website? Can you actually display contents from 2 different PCs at the same time using this PIP feature. Thanks!

I bought this monitor for video editing. The light bleed on the bottom corners is horrible. I’ve never seen a monitor with light bleed this bad.

What’s the adobe rgb coverage? I don’t see anything about it on the website but the rest of the color gamuts are impressive

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro. I’m hoping that it will look okay on my new Dell U2723QE 27” 4K monitor. In a couple of years I’ll upgrade to a new Mac Mini to pair with the monitor

Hello, I am currently in the process of selecting a monitor for my MacBook Air M2. At the moment, I am considering two models: the Dell Ultrasharp U2723QE and the Asus ProArt PA279CRV. Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to visit a physical store and directly compare these two monitors. Currently, I am leaning towards the Dell due to my preference for its design. I have two questions:

Is it possible to use a USB-C cable to simultaneously transfer video from a Mac and charge it? If so, what is the charging power?

Have you had the chance to compare these two monitors? I've come across online reviews mentioning that black tones do not appear truly black on the Dell. Have you experienced this issue? Additionally, which monitor do you believe offers better color reproduction?

I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Nice review. One question: I would guess that your MacBook Pro has a glossy screen while the Dell has a matte screen. Do you see any difference in contrast, sharpness or "vibrancy"? I prefer a vibrant look myself.

Is there a better HDR in comparison in the same price range though? Especially with P3?
