I like that in the remake it’s a mixture of the laser room from the original RE4, but also it is also similar to how it was done in the original Resident Evil film series. Excellent callbacks

The remake version is possibly even better, thanks to the new Martinico chase sequence and Ada’s epic grappling move to escape. The new Separate Ways is a huge improvement over the original PS2 version. RE4 remake is the complete package now.

I like how the pattern of the lasers are the exact same as the original

the remake highlights ada's difference with the other characters. yes all of them are masters at hand to hand combat, good in handling weapons, and good at riding almost anything. but just like chris whos more bulky and powerful, and leon who has more speed and experience in gun fights, this remake shows ada having more flexibility and agility.

edit: so yeah, it was a good choice by RE to make ada go through the laser room
