Mom and I to this day still split a plate and sometimes still have food left over. It's better than wasting or taking home only to forget about it and have to throw it out. Most portions are really too much.

I tried something like this at Chili’s for 3 children and two adults and I only spent 70$ and that was with a margarita also… these hacks really work because we usually spend over 100$ to eat out and I never get the deals like chillis have a 3 for 10 and the two small children shared that it was amazing

I'm always looking for a bargain. If we eat out, we used to be a family of 2 adults and 2 boys. The eldest ate more than the younger one, the youngest could live of air for about 3 years. We always used coupons where available, and shared meals. Nothing wrong with being frugal. I also shop what things are on sale etc.
Restaurants, sit down and fast food, are full of families and adults only. Why is everyone hating on this family?
Often they don't even finish what they have on their plates. I actually would serve them a lot less at first, and let them go for refills.

When i had low income families come in as a server it wasn’t about the tip i grew up like that only having rarely been to a sit down restaurant in my life but the parents would always split or not eat and just eat like the four unfinished kids meals the kids could care less as long as they got a couple bites and maybe fries with ranch it was about coloring on the kids menu and Al the cool decor and having fun
