Im a psychology student. Today I was sitting in class and we were looking at screening tests for patients. And as I read the statements in the "test" this song started playing in my head. As I went on I realized this entire song is statements from a mental screening checklist (probably SCL 90). It creates a haunting picture when you realize this song was released in 2015. One year before his breakdown on the TLOP tour. Kanye probably didn't just look up a random mental screening test for inspiration. Perhaps he wrote this song after having taken one for his deteriating health that year.

Its an amazing beautiful song and an important one in the timeline of this genius.

Underrated. Yet spoken for millions who couldn’t explain this feeling

I love Kanye. Straight up. There’s no other musician or content creator that I feel an actual connection at a personal level with. I just feel like I know who Kanye is, he never has tried to hide it or be anyone but himself. It’s something I admire him for, he wears his heart on his sleeve.

I Feel Like That and Slave Name are probably two of my favorite Kanye songs of all time and they’re not even official releases.

Ain’t no way he just gonna leave this song in the vault. It’s way too damn beautiful & emotion filled to be left out of any album. Hope one day this song has a home

This should've been the intro to YE

This song could and possibly has saved people’s lives. An enormous amount of stress for people “feeling like that” comes from the lack of ability to express these feelings. Thank you Kanye

Going thru a terrible time in my life and knowing someone as legendary as Ye can relate to someone like me really helps.

I want Kanye to put this on an album so badly. I know in my heart he will never scrap this song. He has to be holding onto it. The way this song makes me feel is indescribable

This is such a raw and honest portrayal of emotion. Really wish he would release this song as a single or album track. Didn't this song come out at the same time as "All Day"?

One of the greatest songs and music videos of all time

If people would just be honest with themselves, I think they could appreciate this man's work more. He gets ridiculed for speaking his truth, and people cannot open up their minds past their own ignorance to understand the genius behind what he relays.

You cannot convince me any other artist in history has the absolute best unreleased songs like Ye does. Soo many classics and hits that he just thinks "Nah, not Feelin' it."
This track as well as Can U Be, Slave Name, Gossip Files, New Body are all bangers. And theres so many more

Not one other artist gives me the same feel as I get from his music. Just listen to that background at 0:28-0:37

He is the master of creating sounds that are feelings..
This sound is so melancholy & helpless.. -sprinkled with a little hope, cause at least you know you're not alone. 🖤
