Hi Blake, we are enjoying your videos here. I recently bought a pretty old, original Revival system. I know, it's pretty obsolete. Would you compare it to the Revival features now found in Resolve? Is there anything in the old system that could still be useful? Maybe a few videos on Revival itself, or using Revival features to solve problems.

Hi Blake,

I am getting ready to upgrade from v16 free version to v17 free version. I am on a mac computer.

I am confused about whether to uninstall v16 before I upgrade to v17 OR whether to install v17 over v16 without uninstalling v17 first.

It seems there are many different opinions out there on which way is best. It looks like you always overwrite the old version with the new version instead of uninstalling the old version first? Have you had any problems with upgrading to v 17?

I just do not want to run into unforeseen problems.

What do you do? Do you think there is any difference or one way is better than the other way?

Thanks for any help with this.
