That speedo menu can really get u in strife I have completely ruined my car by adjusting things I didn’t know about thinking they meant off yet they were a value of a specific function, , I even had my needles aligned all over the place so I couldn’t even tell which menu number I was in, but I did heaps of research and have almost sorted everything out, jb4 should come with a massive user manual yet comes with nothing it’s really really stupid, even just a default setting plaque so u can manually change it all back if shit hits the fan..NO quite odd to be sold to the masses but only the real engine knowledgeable and jb4 versed people can actually navigate through problems and that’s forcing u to buy the cable and app, big money maker I can see why so many cars can blow up with novice car enthusiasts installing this falsely thinking this is an easy play around tuner

Hit both downs okay. How did you move to different numbers? Using up down again? Using shifter, using thumb dial, using blinker, ? Be nice to know that..

Is the JB4 still relevant today. I have one fitted to my m135i just a few days ago. It seams amazing. The only issue I have is drive train warning. That seams to be when the obd cable some how wiggles loose.

Id like to know more about the waste gate position also. I understand what it can do but a video on how the car reacts at different ranges would be helpful. eventually i plan on testing it out between different ranges. Also have u messed with opt 11 at all yet?

Ok so I've asked this question before. Don't think I got an answer though. How are you mixing your fuel octane? I mean like e85 gallon for 93 octane gallon? I was thinking of starting out at about a 1/2 tank of 93 and then add in about 2 gallons of e85. Your thoughts please. Also, how high does your oil temperature get. Sorry for all the questions, I just purchased this car and I'm just trying to figure things out.

Do you have a DIY on how to install a jb4 and the connect kit into the ecu box ?

So...messing with the jb4 have the speedometer at 0 for the map setting. Rpm at 0 for stock. I press the channel up button and instead of jumping by 1000, it jumps 1500. I.e. Map 1, @ the 1500 mark instead of 1000. Map 2 at 3000 instead of 2000...and so on. How do I recalibrate the rpm dial to only jump by 1000? At rest, it's on the 0.

HI . I m running the JB4 system on my BMW 335i n54. For some reason when setting up i went wrong somewhere. A transport mode has come up, managed to sort that out, but whenever i pass 160km/h the car goes into a limp mode, fan comes on full speed and car has 0 boost. any suggestions where i could have went wrong.

I recently purchased a 2009 335xi that already had a jb4 installed along with other upgrades but after watching this I was looking through the menus of the tuner and it will not go past 90 or setting 9 as far as the speedometer goes. I was wondering if that is a firmware update that is needed or if it's possible because it's a manual? Could you please point me in the right direction?

Quick question, im running jb4 on auto tune map and when I do pulls, I notice my boost levels will boost at around 16psi or higher but then as I climb up in the higher rpms it drops boost to some times as low as 6psi. Now is that the auto tune doing that or could it be a boost leak?

I have e93 n55 but mine only has 3 wires. Is that normal? Red/black/green. I bought straight from burger.
