Taiwan remains a small island within the big territory of China. China's population is 1.3 billion, while Taiwan, the small province, is just 24 million people. This is the harsh reality. It's a foregone conclusion that Taiwan can never be separated from the mainland.

Most Westerners don’t realize that China has an infinitely greater case for the repatriation of Taiwan than America has for their theft of Hawaii (Americans don’t “study” history, as they believe that they “are” history, and I would suggest that they should perhaps “be careful what they wish for!)”…

China will doubtless reintegrate Taiwan one day (and do know that your restraint, and “playing the long game” are greatly appreciated!)…

China will also once again and fairly reacquire Manchuria, and this will likely occur before Taiwan rejoins the mainland, in fact as soon as the Russian “house of cards” topples, and the Russian Federation balkanizes, which won’t be long at all!

I’m sorry that “Czar Vladimir the Last” lied to China and President Xi, but, unlike China and her leaders, he proved himself to be a man without honor, and a world reaching towards stability and peace, and the true unanimity of nations, can easily do without him and his megalomaniacal ilk…

PS: A possible tentative approach to the “Taiwan problem” is for the West to take their increasingly obsolete “tech” elsewhere (Canada maybe?), and then give the Chinese on Taiwan a choice of either Chinese governance, or the option of emigrating to whichever one of the “Five Eyes” will have them (or any other place of their choosing, again, that will accept them!). I hazard a guess that easily MOST Taiwanese would choose to stick with their cross channel cousins!)…
