My mom was able to stay a few weeks in japan and in order to save money she would buy food at the supermarket at least a few minutes before closing since they have huge discounts that vary from 50% to 70% depending on how close it is to closing time. She would buy her dinner and breakfast was able to save a lot but it also means you need to wait for the stores closing time before eating anything..

One thing I love about your videos is the price of items. I know another YouTuber who just posted the last few days about doing convenience store food in Japan also and got fancier stuff and I was curious how much he had to pay for those items. Here I can see exactly how much each item you got to make an idea of what a meal could cost.

it's beyond me how the Japanese aren't all round and overweight. if I had access to all this rich, delicious Japanese food I'd be fat as a ball, rolling down the street. oh my gosh. it all looks too good.
