Sheng was young and naive. She got elected mayor with little knowledge about politics. She didn't realize this logic. You are the boss, but you are not the law. You are an elect official, but you are under someone's control. For this reason, she was easily used and manipulated by her boyfriend and the owner of the waste solutions company. It's unfortunate that she now has to face a harsh lesson from the big boss. Feel bad for her.

While I have no doubts She is guilty of some, if not most of these counts…. the real tragedy will be If only she gets punished for the rampant graft and corruption in our California cities. Bribery is wrong and undermines the government and the people’s trust, but I’m having a difficult time understanding the justice system right now, knowing that a 10 year old boy in Indiana was murdered by his foster parent and they were sentenced yesterday to only 6 years in prison. Jesus wept. 😔
