I'm really glad Arturia addressed my main complaint about the arpeggiator. I like that you can change the arp octave setting without having to hold down any notes to make it play (tested without latch). However, sometimes it starts playing in the middle of the arpeggio's span. This happens when I play a chord to start an arpeggio, change the octave span while it's playing, let go of the keys, change the octave span again, then press down the keys again. I need to do some further tests to figure out what is going on - maybe it's finishing the previous arpeggio span before adjusting to the new octave span. I also need to see how/if it works with latch, but while the arp isn't running.

Assuming my hypothesis is correct, Arturia should implement a setting in MIDI Control Center to allow us to alter the behavior, such that the arp always starts from the first note upon key press.

I wish the tempo knob could be set to scale, which I prefer to catch in a performance setting.

And I can't decide if I prefer tie to previous or tie to next. Heh.

Nice new features. I don't know if it's reasonable to expect another update, but there are still a couple things that could be improved:
1. Pitch CV is two octaves too high at the lowest possible setting. It's impossible to play low notes on some synths (such as the ARP Odyssey) without pitching the oscillators all the way down, which is a PITA with the Odyssey in particular because of the non-ratcheted coarse tuning slider.
2. While you can sync the arpeggiator/sequencer to MIDI clock, it seems to have pretty high latency. I have to use a MIDI clock offset of about -36 or -37 ms to get it in time with my DAW. Some of that is just compensating for my audio input latency, but I have many other devices synced by MIDI clock and the other ones all use exactly the same offset: -12.6 ms. KeyStep lags behind everything else by about 23-24 ms. Maybe I didn't configure something correctly.

Hi! I have a volca fm and haven't figured out how to get the Mod wheel to work, the pitch wheel works just fine . I have tried device settings but no luck so far. Thanks everyone for the help

Glad they are updating...was hoping for more... like playing a sequence and arp together (possible on the SH-01a) or sending seq out Channel 1 and arp out channel 2 simultaneously.

Hi! When I change the lenght (for example 1 step) it delete the whole pattern (for ex: 16 step)...why?

I'm not sure if you ever had that issue but the midi notes get sometimes stuck and keep playing on my synth module.

little remark:
transpose channel now offers 1-16 and "none", in the old version it was 1-16 and "all". "none" in the new version is in my opinion a typing error - it works like the old "all". when you update and ypu had "all" like i did it defaults automatically to channel 16 which could cause some problems.

The one thing I never liked is you cannot see what the tempo is compared to say the BSP. Which is why I have never had it clocking anything unless some other device was controlling the Keystep.

when you unplug it and plug it in, thats just the USB right? i have mine connected to 12v power barrel, didnt want to power just on the usb alone, but it keeps failing to go to debug mode

in my setup (erm as external masterclock) it does not make any difference if arm clock is set to on or off.
