So let's do some south crop updates and start with the Barley.

** For more fun, weekly polls, pictures, flash backs, Ashtyn & Chapel, and more interactive content check our Patreon Account! 🙂

** Also check out our website to learn a little more about our family farm.

The new merchandise thing has really been cramping our style due to time... But it's all in and I do believe it's all up on the website now, be sure to check it out!

We have some other things planned for ya but are running out of hours in a day. Stay tuned and thank you for your patience. 🙂

Ps: Mike models when Ashtyn brings out food and Chapel for tractor rides 🤷‍♂️😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks Mike. fyi for your information we are sitting at almost double your fuel price - so everything is far too expensive. very interesting video for a UK farmer to see.

Hello Mike and Ashley. Sorry to see that it hasn't rained enough on your southern farm. Yes, little can be done to improve the effectiveness of herbicides when it is dry and a little rain again can reboot half-dead weeds.. (a surfactant incorporated into the last herbicide could have improved the penetration of these herbicides at the time of application under unfavorable conditions?). Another point, on your plot with a high salinity rate, spreading gypsum neutralizes this salt and improves the agronomic capacities of the soil and makes it suitable for cereals. Kind regards, André. Good luck.

Here in Norway it would be nice to have 2.25 CAD per liter diesel; we normally pay 2.52 per liter on a cheap day and 3.15 CAD on an expensive day with 2.89 being the average... 😅

I truly thought you would have close to zero crop at all. Yall got some much needed rain. I'm glad there seems to be a chance you will have a shot to recoup inputs and have seed for next year. As well as the possibility of a small amount of grain to get rid of? That's a question because i dont really know. Fingers crossed for you guys.

Hey Mike barley looks good, the other evening we got 6 in of rain in 15minutes. It was crazy thunderstorm and huge rain ditches filled in no time.

I don't comprehend over half of what you say in some videos but it's usually a very entertaining ramble regardless. Good luck with your crops, man.

Where I’m at is in a mild drought. But still enough I’m afraid to work on equipment in the field due to wrench swallowing cracks. Lol
