If you can't find the FakeInput in the settings just go to the folder or Zip file containing DS4 and delete the 2 files that have fake in their name. It should work after that.

for anyone havine this issue. just enable ds4 as a startup application. thats what ive done to be able to use it. just dont close it or youll have to quick restart

U talk from fakeinputDII.dll (or ...wrapper.dll) in his Data space, maybe useless to delet

a mi me dejo de abrir el ds4windows, en el admin de tareaa se abre por 1 segundo sale suspended y se cierra, el ds4 esta instalado en program files, tengo el driver d vigembus y el net framework q requiere, (no tengo los drivers opcionales pq tampoco sirve con ellos), ¿q puedo hacer?

What worked for me was launching the DS4 Windows updater and then clicking the "Open DS4W" button.

No fake input file for me it launches and works from when it previously would allow me edit the setting it launches but is just not showing the application settings weird
