Absolutely perfect and a lifesaver! Quick, simple and foolproof. Never mind the negative comments.

Thanks, this video helped me give the right idea (I went and looked up battery specs of CR2032 batteries to see that the maximum discharge current they quote is 10 mA). If you calculate the resistance of the circuit inside the multimeter using Ohm's law, you'll realize that for the 9 V batteries you get 360 Ohms wheres for the 1.5 V ones it's 375. This means that it either uses two separate circuits (with separate series resistances) for the measurement or the quoted values are fishy. If we give them the benefit of the doubt and presume that the former's the case you don't know what's the level at which the instrument switches over to the other resistor. Either way I'll just connect >300 Ohm resistors in series and measure my batteries that way, thanks!

What even is that multimeter setting? Most multimeters don't have that setting.

That music is a no go, had to put on mute!!

If 8.2mA is good, then how many mA is bad? Like what's the cutoff? Or is any reading >8.2mA bad?

What settings to you use with a Innova 3320? I dont have the exact settings/functions you seem to. I has a "battery load test" setting, but not for 3V, goes from 1.5V to 6V, and when i measure new ones with that, they all measure around 2.4V to 2.5V

so at what mA would be battery just not operate? were the bad ones shown in the video truly 'bad' ?

Should try talking and explaining what is going on here. My multimeter has a battery setting but it has 2 separate settings. It has 1.5V and 9V. I set it to 9V, and brand new coin cells read the exact same as they do on the voltage test. That would be at 3.25. Since they do not read 8.2 on the battery test. does that mean they are weak?

Is the Maxcell or AC Delco a better CR2032 battery?

How do you come up with that equation? I mean where do those numbers come from?

I’m sure you mean well, but this video is useless to me: (1) My multimeter does not have a “V-20” setting; (2) I have no idea what this means: “Bad idea: CR2032=~3V long time.”

Posso usar uma bateria recargável 2032 de 3, 6v em um aparelho que sempre usa cr2032 de 3v não recarregavel? Tenho essa dúvida se pode queimar o aparelho. Obrigado

You've better add notice to don't check current on A multimeter section..for safety
