I just can't get behind people saying she dominated this fight. Yes, she won and was winning convincingly but you can win a fight on all cards but NOT dominate your opponent. Lemos was giving it to Weili and she had to keep the fight on the ground because Lemos was clearly better with her hands. Yes, she got caught with a big shot that dropped her but that happens in fights.

I just believe that the entire UFC community did Women fighters a disservice last night. Instead of focusing on the skills of both fighters, they focused ONLY on what Weili was doing. They treated Lemos like she wasn't even in the fight. ALL highlights and talk was in favor of Weili. These two women are highly skilled and this could have elevated women to another level. She "dominated" the fight but could not, for the life of her, get Lemos out of there. Everything she tried, Lemos found a way to remain in the fight while remaining dangerous at the same time.

Honestly, the commentary around this fight was disgusting. Lemos was NOT shown ANY respect.

It was my first time watching Lemos and I walked away thinking this woman is INCREDIBLE! They should fight again but because of the biased narrative and commentary we won't get a second fight AND I do believe in a second meeting, Lemos would best Weili.
