Say you on the original Dookie tour in Buffalo, NY in 1994 while I was still in high school! Trey singing "All By Myself" was hilarious! Thanks for all the years of great music... all the way back to 1039 and Kerplunk days!

19 & hearing Longview for the first time on mainstream rock radio in Brisbane in my car one night. I’d never heard of Green Day - loved Ramones, Clash etc but our radio didn’t play stuff like that at the time & I was instantly hooked

Being months away from turning 12 and hearing Green Day for the first time. Basket Case and Longview were in constant rotation on MTV Europe, soon there was When I Come Around, too. And then, eventually... 2013, Dookie played for the first time from start to finish, in my city, right before my eyes. 😊 I had some of my silly tween dreams come true at 30. ❤

I'll never ever forget hearing basket case on the radio for the first time at 13... it was the closest thing i have ever felt to i guess what people would call love at first sight!❤ seeing the video and discovering the rest of the album and everything before that solidified my love for the band. im 42 years old now and these three, now six continue tobe the most relatable, beloved, and by far favorite music creators in my life and now my daughters! thanls billie from the bottom of my heart❤

I'm 17 at the moment, so I discovered Green Day about 2019 I think, fell in love with the band, then 2020 came and had to do school online. I'd listen to Green Day while doing my work, you'll literally just see me on my zoom meetings singing along to When I Come Around or Basket Case, Welcome to Paradise, etc lol.

I'm 49 and happy to celebrate 30 years of Dookie. I was 19 when it was released. Legitimises me being at their gigs as a grey haired fella among all the youngsters that love their music too.

I got the greatest hits album because I had already known what American idiot and boulevard of broken dreams were but the song that really hooked me was Longview with it's iconic bass-line, thank you green day for consistently providing us great music and uniting people across the world

Billie Joe with blonde hair, white shirt and red guitar strap looks like a live action SpongeBob 😂💚

While I’ve only been a fan of Green Day for about two years now, their music has made a huge impact on my life. Dookie was the second GD album I ever listened to, and while it’s not my favourite, it’s still a phenomenal record and it’s influence is undeniable. And I feel like the more time goes on, the more I find the songs are more relatable to me. Which in all honesty is a testament to how timeless Dookie really is.

I’m 13 and I really wish I was there when dookie came out
Btw if anyone has any cool stories about music at this time I’d love to hear them

I wasn't even born in 93 . But I feel like all GD fans agreed with that young man : they are talking about young people problem and it's still accurate now, 30 years later. They are us

Still remeber the first time I heard welcome to paradise in late 90s when my cousin introduced me to them. The reason I wanted to learn to play guitar. Love this album

Definitely my stand out memory of dookie was trying to learn welcome to paradise when I first started playing guitar. Such a great album!

I’m a quiet person too, and I love to get wild in concerts! I can’t wait to see Green Day again in the future.
