Fans gather in London to mourn, remember former One Direction star | AFP

Hundreds of fans of British pop singer Liam Payne gather at a memorial in London's Hyde Park to pay tributes after the former One Direction star who died last week in Argentina. Amongst the mainly young female crowd some sing One Direction songs, some hold balloons, whilst others wipe away tears, or place flowers at a makeshift vigil.

What is sad about this, these people are going to forget him in a blink of an eye. They are just reacting to the shock. It’s his family and friends the people who knew Liam personally I feel so sorry for. The world will move on but for Liam’s love ones the pain will never end for them

I think most of these young fans were not even in their teens yet when one direction was at its peak, all the teenage fans when one direction became popular are in their 30s at least
