Sick video! I got rid of so much outboard gear, but I think I'm going to start building up my rack again. I think this in a stereo pair would be an amazing place to start. I love the software preamps on my Apollo Twin, but I think some real hardware is needed in the chain. These pre's paired with my new WA 251 mic would be just amazing!!

I bought one, to try out. I just LOVE the 73 eq- So, I just bought another one...I'm only doing two tracks at a time, . ( I'm not recording drums, or full bands). At least I can run those in stereo....I'm stoked! You inspired me to do the 'console thing'- It makes sense, to me. IF I was doing drums, and bands..I'd def. get 10 or 12 of these. There are GREAT pieces of gear! Warm Audio has invaded my studio, and taken over.

Nice setup and playing. The concept of having a ‘console that’s not a conole’ by fronting a DAW with a group of high quality mic pre’s is becoming a fairly common approach and makes sense versus owning a full console. With the pre’s having both Mic and Line inputs you could leverage them as external hardware in Pro Tools to bus out and back in just to add some of that character to a track during mixing.
