Did this in the eighties, the ice caves at the top are awesome as is the view outside once your eyes have adjusted to the brightness, ie snow.

We took all the routes mentioned in this video. Switzerland is worth visiting more than twice. We visited 5x. Great information 👍🏼on this video.

We did Route 3 going up and Route 1 going down. It gave us the best of both worlds - some time-saving as we were trying to catch the snow on top of Jungfraujoch, while still seeing both the north face of the Eiger on the ascent and the beautiful views of Wengen and Lauterbrunnen on the descent.

An absolutely superb video! I am a regular visitor to Switzerland and this video is a brilliant summary of the choices available. In particular, I would stress the point that Grindelwald TERMINAL is outside the village and not a place where you would want to break your journey.

I tried all the routes. Out early morning and back to hotel early evening. Made the most of the unlimited oberland pass. Train ride and trekking from wengen to lauterbrunnen were magical.

Great information, I would like to ask you, which ticket Ill should buy. I am traveling with my kids, we are going to Zermatt, then Interlaken, Griindelwald, Jungfraujoch, then Zurich airport. Is it convenient to have a Swiss travel pass, half fare pass or jungfraujoch pass for the days I will spend in that area? thank you

If you park your car in Interlaken Ost, and you take Route 2 down to Grindewald, how do you get from Grindewald to your car parked in Interlaken Ost?

When you buy Route 1 ticket do you tell the ticket office you want to come back via Route 2 (ending in Grindewald)? Also at the top of Matterhorn, how/where do you change From Route 1 to Route 2 coming down to Grindewald?

How to get tickets for all?? If there are too many stops, is it just one ticket that gets you to everything

The best is to take route 1 going up and route 2 going down.
