In reality she was a beautiful leader the princess of Vatican, a writer and a very devout Christian ✝️ and a victim of her father political ambition. A later Borgia (don't remember his name) was given sainthood and when he first arrived to Italy he viseted Lucresia grave and prayed for her peace.

Couldn’t it be possible that both portrayals of her could be accurate, rather than just one or the other? People tend to be complicated beings, and they can be different depending on their circumstances. Maybe she reinvented herself a number of times when necessary.
