HuLaws is also master of the baby-flute. His tonal control is wonderfully smooth in this Africano rhythmic milieu.

Latino-Africano rhythmic pulse, verdad?

Jerome Richardson [RIP], one of the flute pioneers of Organic Real Jazz, was as fantastic on the piccolo flute as he was on baritone, tenor and alto saxophones.

Today, Mr. Nelson Rangell, classically-trained flautist, has been blazing the woodwind trail on piccolo flute, as well as on concert flute.

Nelson is one of the top alto saxophonists in the business. Although on flutes he is fundamentally a classical performer, Mr. Rangell is ALL Jazz - Organic Real Jazz - with a funkily funkadelic attitude.

HuLaw's hope has always been that some artist will join fingers with him in making the piccolo flute a lead instrument in Jazz and contemporary music.

I am now going to hear "Baila Cinderella" as the master flutist converses.

Thank for the post.
