Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the former oil tycoon and a prominent Kremlin critic, has been released from jail. Khodorkovsky was freed after serving more than ten years in prison for tax evasion. He was pardoned by President Putin earlier on Friday in what many see as a gesture to critics of his human rights record in the run up to the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Al Jazeera's Peter Sharp reports from Moscow.
